Every year, Halcyon Frequency hosts the RimWorld Hot Potato. Founded by Suwey, this is a charity event in which a large group of streamers get together to raise money for charity. So far, the Hot Potato has raised a total of $432,611.53 for Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders over 5 years!
The Hot Potato Charity Event
The Hot Potato is held in November (usually around US Thanksgiving) where we play RimWorld while raising money.
In 2023, for the first time ever we also hosted an additional spring event in which we played Dwarf Fortress while raising money for Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders.
